Leap year is the most f-ed up thing I have ever heard of! Who the hell decided that it would be for the cosmic good to add in an extra (hello, EXTRA!) day every four years. And furthermore, who the hell decided on Feb 29?? I, for one, do not wish to have an *extra* day of February! Why not an extra April or May, when it's all nice out and shit.

Hello?? What planet are you from?? Not Earth, everyone knows that it takes approx. 365.25 days for the Earth to revolve around the Sun, aka 1 year. Well since it's not a nice number like 365 but rather a pesky number like 365.25, every 4 years you need to make up for these pesky quaters so they add them up (.25 X 4 = 1.0) and tack them on to Feb. Why?? I don't fucking know, but since it's only got 28 days, and you can thank the Roman Calendar for that, I guess it was just logical to stretch out the short month...Where were you in school?? Damn, you really are a lame-a-zoid!!

Oh my god. I *know* that they HAVE to put the day there because of the Earth's rotation! I am WAY more pissed about the February thing. And thank you Bill Nye the Science Guy for the mini-dissertation.
